The spelling of my name

For the first time in three generations, I'm making a change to the spelling of my last name.

Szmaida to Smida

Why? And be brief

• The old spelling was hard to communicate
• After a Polish guy laughed at me, I was like "why?" then (years later) "oh..."
• Marking a transition to a new chapter
